What's in a name?
Corrigan was a real person who followed Lindbergh across the Atlantic without the money and without government permission. He claimed he was planning to fly to California from New Jersey and accidentally went the wrong way, ending up in Ireland.
Hasher Corrigan, on one of the early Guam hashes set by Abzug and Corrigan's boss, newpaper publsher Lee Webber, led the pack 7 miles in the wrong direction.
